Corn planted on April 11th has evenly emerged in a field observed near Emmetsburg, IA. Planting depth was approximately 2 ¼ inches with Variable Rate populations.
Fields planted before April 15th should be emerged and if a field is in question, it is important to take stand counts throughout the field to determine whether replanting is needed.
